It has been very hot the whole day.
We had just stopped when a heavy wind broke loose.
It was only seconds that we were surronded by masses of flying sand.
An extraordinary sight. The Kalahari really shows you how powerful nature is!
Thank God we had already stopped, it would have been impossible to drive on.

Awesome photo Katja. So desolate.
Cool to be in the middl eof a sandstorm. Did it take long?
Half an hour and we were able to drive again...
It was awesome :-D
That shot is truly awesome!
But I think it would have been a tad scary too, all that sand and wind.
But I guess you've been too busy taking photos :D
(Wahrscheinlich haette ich das jetzt auch auf Deutsch schreiben koennen, oder?! :D)
Thank you Nicole :-D
Not it was not at all scary, but simply breathtaking..
It all happened very fast.
And of course I was busy to take the right shot....
(Und ja ich spreche Deutsch ;-)....)
Und das hast Du ja geschafft (das perfekte Foto :) )
LG aus dem Sinai!
